The neoprene really traps heat — I could feel my core warming up within the first ten minutes of my workout. It also gave me good lower-back support during squats. Just keep in mind there's no exchanges, so double-check your size before ordering.

Wore it through a full cardio session and the neoprene really traps warmth around my waist the whole time. The posture support is a nice bonus I didn't expect to notice so much.

I was skeptical about neoprene at first, but it traps heat exactly as described and makes my waistline feel snug and supported during cardio. The fabric doesn't roll down at the top, which is my usual gripe, so it stays put through the whole session.
