The waist shaping actually works without feeling restrictive—I wore it under a fitted dress all afternoon and forgot it was on. It’s discreet enough that the seams don’t show through lighter fabric, which is exactly what I needed for both jeans and a nicer blouse.

The waistband is snug enough to smooth things out, but I’m not sure it’s doing much beyond that. It’s fine for a casual day out, though the fabric felt a bit warmer than I’d like once the afternoon hit.
